The 1.2 km long bay of Vasiliki Beach offers optimal conditions for surfers: in the morning there is a light onshore wind (1-3 bft). In the afternoon the thermal wind blows, ideal gliding wind (4-6 bft., sideshore from the right). In the summer months the wind comes very reliably in the afternoon.

The large standing area is ideal for beginners and also offers the best conditions for everyone who is working on their skills.

The water stays fairly flat even in strong wind conditions. And if there is no wind, our kayaks and SUPs are available.

Our course system

Introductory and advanced courses
Daily 1 hour lesson plus 1 hour free practice for beginners in the mornings & advanced in the afternoons in small groups. (max. 8 course participants). After 5 course days at the latest, you will master the basics of windsurfing in light winds (steering, tacking, jibing, priority rules, safety)

Rent surfing equipment
Guests who have mastered at least the basics of windsurfing can rent equipment. The surf center is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Advance reservations are strongly recommended in July and August.

Optional

VDWS surf basic license
International certificate of competency for renting surfing equipment at one of the around 400 VDWS water sports stations worldwide. In addition to a practical exam at the end of a basic course, a theoretical exam is taken.

A total of 100 rigs (Duotone for intermediates and advanced or Unifiber for beginners) and 70 boards (Fanatic for advanced or BIC, Techno for beginners) are available to you.
