Our surf center is located in Vasiliki on the Ionian island of Lefkada (Greece). We offer windsurfing holidays for children, teenagers, and adults—perfect for anyone who wants to make water sports a highlight of their vacation.
Human Sports is a surf center where everyone feels at home—offering a personal, family-friendly, and international atmosphere. We cater to families, solo travelers, and couples alike, welcoming everyone from windsurfing beginners to seasoned experts. We started with this vision in the year 2000, and now, 25 years later, we are delighted that so many guests have become regulars and that lasting friendships have formed.
Euro Jugend operates a summer branch at the center, hosting surf camps and team training sessions.
Surf Pools and Courses
Guests who have already mastered the basics of windsurfing can book a “surf pool” package for the duration of their stay. Depending on their skill level, guests have access to our full range of boards and rigs. Use of SUPs and kayaks is also included.
Beginners and those looking to improve their skills can join one of our courses. All courses take place in small groups of no more than six to eight people, fostering a relaxed, family-like atmosphere. Beginner sessions are held in the morning when winds are light, while advanced sessions take place in the afternoon once the thermal wind kicks in. All courses are led by qualified windsurfing instructors. Instruction is conducted in English.

Daily opening hours for 2027 remain 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
For the 2027 season, we will once again have Tabou boards and Gaastra sails available for rent, suitable for both intermediate and advanced riders.

03 Surfing
Vasiliki Beach offers optimal conditions for windsurfers in its 1.2 km long bay: a light onshore wind (1–3 Beaufort) blows in the morning. In the afternoon, a thermal wind kicks in—ideal for planing (4–6 Beaufort, side-shore from the right). During the summer months, this afternoon wind is very reliable.
The large area of ​​shallow water is ideal for beginners and offers excellent conditions for those looking to improve their skills.
The water remains relatively flat even in strong winds. And should the wind drop, our kayaks and SUPs are available for use.
OUR COURSE SYSTEM
Introductory and Intermediate Courses
Daily 1-hour lesson plus 1 hour of free practice in small groups (max. 8 participants); beginners in the morning, improvers in the afternoon. After a maximum of 5 days, you will have mastered the basics of windsurfing in light winds (steering, tacking, gybing, right-of-way rules, safety).
Beginners: Daily at 10:45 AM

Equipment Rental
Guests who have mastered at least the basics of windsurfing can rent equipment.
The surf center is open daily from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Advance reservation is highly recommended for July and August.
Equipment
A total of 100 rigs (Duotone and Gaastra for improvers and advanced riders; Unifiber for beginners) and 70 boards (Fanatic and Tabou for advanced riders; BIC, Techno, and Tabou for beginners) are available for your use.

04 Your stay
LEFKADAÂ is a mountainous island with lush vegetation. Small, fertile islets lie off the wind-protected east coast, which gently slopes into the sea. The west coast, in contrast, is steep and rugged, with wide sandy beaches and wooded bays.
The island’s capital, Lefkada, offers a truly picturesque view with its colorfully painted wooden structures on the houses and its narrow, steep alleys.
The entire island can be explored by car or mountain bike. A detour to Kefalonia, the largest Ionian island, is also worthwhile. Fiskardo, with its picturesque yacht and fishing harbor in the north of Kefalonia, has retained the typical appearance of an island village. A ferry departs from Vasiliki to Fiskardo and back several times a day during the high season.

Direct flights to Preveza are available from Germany with Condor, Eurowings, Ryanair, and EasyJet from various major German cities. -
From the Netherlands
There are several direct flights a week from Amsterdam/Schiphol to Preveza with Transavia. -
From the UK
Easyjet and British Airways fly several times a week from London to Preveza.
By car, you can take the ferry (Anek Lines, Minoan, or Superfast) from Venice, Ancona, or Brindisi to Igoumenitsa. From there, Vasiliki is about a two-hour drive away.
